  1. Senior Server Developer
    Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high availability financial trading systems. Will collaborate with the CTO, product management, development team, business experts and quality assurance to ensure the development of technologically leading edge and feature rich products as well as analyze business requirements and use cases, create and document software design, and implement and test software solutions. Top candidates have experience in architecture, design, development and deployment of commercial quality products with 5+ years experience developing server-side software on Solaris/Linux platforms, 5+ years C++ experience, competency in OOP principles and common design patterns using UML, strong testing discipline, good understanding of Solaris/Linux systems administration, and meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, qualified candidates have enterprise level server-side development experience using C++, T-SQL or PL SQL and one or more scripting languages such as php on Solaris and/or Linux operating systems. Ideal candidates have experience with Solaris, Linux, ACE, and QuickFix and have previous experience developing commercial financial software products. Strong candidates are highly motivated with a positive attitude, have a proven ability to prioritize and excel in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate attention to detail while producing work quickly, accurately and independently. An undergraduate degree in computer science, related field or equivalent work experience is required and a Masters degree in computer science is preferred.

Service & Support
  1. Service & Support Representative (part-time) 
    Responsible for providing outstanding service, support and training to GlobalTec software customers to include product support and technical support. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues via telephone, e-mail, and live chat to maintain continued customer satisfaction. Qualified applicants have a strong customer service orientation, telephone support experience, working knowledge of Microsoft® Windows environments, have exhibited a strong understanding of computers,and have demonstrated an ability excel in a fast paced environment. To be considered for the position, candidates must have solid organizational and time management skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem solving ability, and a willingness to work a part-time schedule. Ideal candidates have knowledge of anti-virus software, firewalls, software applications related to Internet connectivity and security, and various computer hardware. Shifts available are: 8:15 am to 12:15 pm, and 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
